Step 2 -> Select Domain Name 
Here you can choose to transfer your existing domain name if you already have one. Incase you do not have one, you can always purchase a domain name from domain registrars like GoDaddy & NameCheap as Hostgator is costly (around $15) when it comes to registration of domain names.

Step 3 -> Confirm your Hosting Package Information 
This step enables you to select the username & password you would like to access your web hosting account. You can also change the duration of your plan in this step 
  
Step 4 -> Billing Information 
Here you need to select your payment method which can be through Credit Card / Paypal. If you’re selecting Paypal as your mode of payment, you will be taken to the Paypal Payment page 

Note – Make sure to enter a valid phone number as they generally call for verification. I’ve also heard at times that incase they’re not able to reach you through phone , they request for some identity proof to validate you. Ensure that you enter genuine details 
Step 5 -> Review & Verify Order before Submission 
This is the last step where you need to review your complete order by checking details like the hosting plan, package you selected, total due
